Hi We are an IT company from Bangalore and about to partner with a semi government body as an assosicate, in this process we need to declare our "Legal Attorney" so my question is that is there any rule that a company legal attorney should be from the same jurisdiction where the company operates from or the attorney conman be from other states in India as well??
And can any practicing/non practicing lawyer be a corporate attorney in India/Bangalore??

There is no rule that a company legal attorney should be from the same jurisdiction. There are plenty of attornies in corporate sector. Please check in this site in lawyers directory.

Practising Lwyer can be Company Attorney as long as Company hires the legal services and Fees is paid to the Attorney.
