Company law - meetings

My society not sent invitation to some of members so it can select secretary without any oppose.

As per rules of Meetings in Company Law; a meeting is void and illegal if some members were ommitted to be invited intentionally. Does the same applies to meetings of society also. If yes then please suggest how to prove this and take action on it.

Please help.
