Common Area Dispute

My father and my father's sister have a common area registered in his sister's name.By mistake they have registered 10 feet as common area 2 years back.Now my father and his sister is ready to change the common area from 10 feet to 5 feet.What is the process to change this common area?

Let both of them may get a rectification deed registered.

Where should we go and register for it sir?Just a registeration deed is enough for that sir??

The sub=Registrar where original deed was registered shall register "Rectification" deed.
