Civil services interview is likely to change from this year

The UPSC Civil Services Main Examination 2011 result was declared and the list of the candidates qualified for the personality test has been announced. About 900 candidates are likely to be selected based on the merit order which would be determined by adding the marks scored at the Mains and the personality test.

At the national level out of the 12,993 candidates who were qualified for the Mains about 2,400 candidates have been selected for the personality test, which will commence from March 19.
According to experts the personality test is likely to see a change from this year and candidates appearing for it should prepare accordingly.

The candidates may be tested in their ability to enable them to deliver good governance in the fast changing domestic and global socio-economic and technological scenario.

The Kothari Committee of the UPSC described the qualities to be rated in the interview as, ''clarity of expression, grasp of narrative and argument, reasoning ability, appreciation of different points of view, awareness and concern for socio-economic problems, ranges and depth of interests and personal attributes relevant to interaction with people.''

In this scenario, some Interviews of Toppers and guidance from Experts in this field may help you succeed in the Personality Test
