Dear sir we are looking up some govt freely issued housing sites located near Varthur maduranagar stage 2. Lock period was over its 1500sft a katha . If I buy can I get building licence ?. This land was given to Bpl around 1970 s . Now the area is developed due to the people migration .please answer me.

The allotment paper and the conditions therein are to be seen to render any opinion on this. You may consult a local lawyer and get his opinion and then proceed in the matter.

A. Notwithstanding the lock period was completed, Government permission is mandatory under the PTCL Act.
B. Unless obtained the permission from the Government that the land cannot be alienated.
C. Don't purchase this type of site unless consulted the local legal expert because of this land can be restored at any time to the earlier allotted person by way of court interference.
