My lawyer filed quash of 498A on settlement basis that full and final settlement payment has already made. They just filed a counter affidavit. I thought counter affidavits do not apply to Criminal petitions for quashing. Is it valid for a complainant to file Counter Affidavit in a Quash Criminal petition?

it can be filed as the acting upon such affidavite is not meant for fore conviction or acquittal
