Can apartment association charge extra for letout flats?

Hi All,

I live in an apartment in Bangalore. Is it legal for an association to charge extra maintenance(portion of maintenance which is fixed) for letout properties? Similar to what BBMP charges double the property tax for letout properties?

refer bye-laws and the relevant act under which the bye-laws have been formed... If so, the association can charge reasonable extra amount..
