Bond in Service

Sir, I'm at present a Govt. Employee in DRDO. But before I was working in BSNL till April 2015. I was unemployed at the time of both the examinations. But BSNL declared the result first and I joined in BSNL as a trainee for 10 weeks. After training I joined in BSNL on May 2014 for a provesion period of 5 year and I signed a security bond aggrement of 2 Lakhs. But my interview of DRDO conducted in the middle of my training peripd of BSNL and final selection noticed on August 2014. So, I had given resignation to BSNL on April 2015 but they are not accepting my resignation without payment of 2Lakhs. But it was not possible to give such a huge amount at that time and I joined DRDO on May 2015. BSNL now threatening me to pay that amount else they will intimate my present employer. At this situation please suggest me Sir what to do and whether I have to pay the full amount with interest @18% as I know I have to pay only the compensation what they given at the time of training. Please response. Thanking you, My details are here... BSNL has no business to threat and coerce by approaching current employer. Record the threats. BSNL employees union had taken up the matter and it was decided that liquidated damages shall be reduced to nominal amount of few thousand rupees. You may check for which designations it was negotiated. BSNL can approach court for recovery. Court may order no compensation/property rated compensation/full compensation as per merits. Approach an able counsel specializing in labor-service matters with all record and copy of bond.

Thank you for your kind information sir.I have another question regarding whether it will be a problem in my present employer's scenario if BSNL approaches to court? And whether I have to pay the signed bond amount of 2 lakhs though it is not the actual compensation what BSNL suffered. Please response. Thanking you,
