The current status is that, the exam shall be conducted, and it shall be conducted on 5th December 2010.

BCI decision on Bar exam is coming very very late in India. BCI should have done this long time back. Consider this, even in Philippians they have onducted Bar Exam since 1901 and that too by their Supreme Court. We should learn a lesson from Phillippians. Just passing out LLb., is not enough.
