My father passed away on 10/07/2017 while in service as Defence Civilian employee. I came to know that family pension for my mother will be calculated based on last month's basic pay. Annual increment was applicable from July 1st but the salary for July (calculated on pro-rata basis) was not credited and I was informed that arrears will be paid when all necessary documents required for processing pension are submitted.
My question is, will the annual increment to the basic pay be considered while calculating gratuity and pension?
