atrocity arrest

can arrest compulsory in atrocity case?

Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies whether an arrest is compulsory in atrocity cases. It highlights the Arnesh Kumar judgment, which mandates that a Section 41A CrPC notice must be served before an arrest. Failure to comply with this provision can lead to the quashing of the arrest by a bail court.
