ancestral property

Dear folks

I needed a legal opinion on the below subject

There are some ancestral property in the name of my grandfather ( mummys father). Mummy wanted a share in the property which was agreed by my grand father but there are no written confirmation from any side

As know my mummys is no more so i wanted to know what right do we have on the property can we( me and my brother) fight for the property.

My uncle ( mummys brother) is insisting for mummys death certificate from day on after mummys death so we suspect that they have sold some of the property without mummys consent. so kindly help on what grounds can we fight

Regards

You can get the share of your mother as her legal heirs.
