Dear Team,
My Father's Elder Brother has died recently and actually there is one agriculture land of 2 acers for which 2.5 lakh's amount was given through cheque for purchase.But that was not registered with us from him.
He mean time stayed with one of his sub ordinate after his retirement.
He is not married person.
I am actually his son and my father also expired.
Is there any chances to get that land on my mother's name even if he might have power of attorney to his subordinate and he died recently.
Is there any possibilities for us to go legally as we are his sons and we did all the cremation formalities.
Request all you to guide me in this scenario how to approach to get the property and stop the subordinate to take the action over that property.
