Making a Property Will

Dear Sir,

I have 2 flats in my sole name. I would like to make a will for transfering the ownership in the name of my wife  in case of my death. What is the procedure for making a will which is legally valid and executing the will as and when needed ?  If a flat is in joint name then can it be sold by any one or signature of both persons required ?

You can make a will on a simple plain paper, it should be signed by you and 2 attesting witnesses.   If a flat is in joint name then, signature of both persons is required on the sale deed to sell it.
