Dear Friends :
We are inviting our overseas suppliers for erection of our Cement Plant. For this purpose the overseas suppliers will bring their own tools, tackles, accessories and after completion of their job they will take back their tools and tackles.
As per Customs Notification No. 27/2002 dated 01.03.2002 as amended by 27/2008 dated 01.03.2008 tools and tackles falling under Chapters 84, 85, 90 or any other chapter of the first schedule to the customs tariff act, 1974 are exempted from customs duty.
Can any one explain the formalities to be adopted by us for this purpose. If so, pls. send me complete details and from whom we have to obtain approval.
