section 125 Cr.P.C

whether it is not an injustice that section 125 of Cr.P.C provides only a safe guard to the women only. There are many cases which we see in our daily life, where all the fault is being done by the female but our judiciary ignores all that and give the maintenance/relief to the female. All the judgements of our Hon'ble Supreme Court and even the clauses of this section 125(4)says "if the women is of her own will or neglect or without any reasonable cause leaves her materimonial home or is living in adultry she is not entitled for maintenance", but whether it is done ? I think no. whether there should not be an amendment in the said section for its betterment

Iam of the opinion that the judiciary does not ignores any fact stated above while granting maintenance, the judiciary is well aware of the provisions, the fact is that in India more than 80% of the woman are innocent, helpless and are suffering at the hands of the husband as they are deprived of even the basic necessities of life.
