Dob issue with my 10th class certificate

Good afternoon,
In my 10th class certificate having DOB is 20-11-1981. Where as my DOB certificate, which is issued my GHMC and I recently collected my 5th class Bonafide as well ,these two documents are consisting of DOB is 20-11-1984.So now could you please advise me how can I make changes in 10th class certificate.

You will have to file a case to get it corrected.

My search on google reveals that the Govt Education Department of the State concerned have framed rules for correction of DOB in the School record. For Example Kerala Govt provided that any application for correction of DOB should be submitted to the SSC Board within 15 years of leaving the School; the Punjab Govt prescribed one year for correction. In case of delay the Kerala Rules provide that the applicant should first obtain condonation of delay from the Secretary, ministry of Education. Hence you should first find out the rules of the Govt of your State or the SSC Board and apply for correction.You should not rush to court without exhausting the remedy provided by the State or the SSC Board.
