Attestation form sent by central govt departments before joi

(Querist) 08 June 2018 This query is : Resolved
I had taken admission in B.Tech in 2011 and after 4 semesters in 2013, I left that course due to economical reasons and took admission in B.Sc graduation course in another university.I have been recently selected in a central govt job and now I am in dilemma whether I should give details in the attestation form about my B.Tech course which I had left mid-way.Or simply I should give details about the graduation course in B.Sc which I have completed.Will it create any problem if I hide that information because there is one column in the attestation form which asks about educational qualifications including places of education since 15 years of age..

In the attestation form you fill out all your education deta8ls from 10th class to graduation. including places of education.Nothing will happen. This is not a crime.

Hiding anything from Attestation Form will create problem. On the contrary, giving all the information without hiding will not create any problem.

what do you gain by hiding facts.
Vijay Raj Mahajan (Expert) 08 June 2018
Give details of complete education in chronological order including the course that was started but couldn't be complete.
False information provided to government departments can not only loose the opportunity to have the job but even face criminal prosecution.

Hiding of facts is a crime, it gives you complicity and fell in difficulty so always try to submit fact information.

You have posted that;
‘because there is one column in the attestation form which asks about educational qualifications including places of education since 15 years of age..’
Apparently there is a gap from 2001-2013…
You can explain IT by narrating facts.
Kumar Doab (Expert) 08 June 2018
If you don’t conceal then in case of any adverse situation relief from higher authorities in establishment ,courts can be expected.
IT shall always be appropriate to consult elders of the family, competent and experienced well wishers, seasoned/employees/trade union leaders….get proper legal opinion from a very able LOCAL senior counsel of unshakable repute and integrity specializing in Labor/service matters and well versed with LOCAL applicable rules/laws that apply and having successful track record…. and worth his/her salt..by showing matter related docs and giving inputs in person…..
Thus unnecessary complications, misunderstandings can be avoided.

I stick to my above view.
