Dimension not mentioned in houselist

We have an ancestor property whose dimension is not mentioned in the houselist copy given by grama panchayath, they have mentioned only two property numbers. I was given an application to grama panchayath to survey and mention dimension, same has been passed in Panchayath members meeting in favor us... But now Panchayath development Officer is asking us to provide proofs for dimesion.. i have provided sale agreements of neighbor(left and right) properties which were made in 1932 and 1958, in which they have mentioned our property in chekku bandi(boundaries). But i don't have any proofs for dimesion as it is ancestoral property... We are in position and there are no government properties also in that place.... what shall i do now?

You have sufficient documentary evidence which you have mentioned in your query. None can insist for the dimensions for such old property.

Follow up with the Panchayat for issuing the required proof.
Discuss with local lawyer to get court decree.
