Sir,
I had an affair with a married woman. She has made a video clip of our encounter and she wants money in return for that.She threatens me that she would say taht I promised him money and help in return for the sexual favor. I am a reputed person and want to know my options.
a) If I gather courage and decide to face her what charges can she put on me as everything happened with her consent.
b) If I pay her what paperwork can be done to ensure future security.

Yes, go for first option.
If blink once you will become her slave all your life.
It is pure blackmailing.
So record her offer once again and lodge complaint with Police about blackmail. If you lodge complaint first you will get relief for sure.
Do not waste time anymore.

Sir, I live in a small place where everybody knows me so filing a police complaint is my last option. I would like to tell you that I didn't have any sexual encounter with her, we just fooled around. This can be proven in court,as I am severe diabetic and am not physically fit for a sexual act. Any doctor would verify that. So does not having a sexual intercourse absolve me from offence ?
I strongly feel that she will not report to police because she also wants to avoid police affairs. Therefore I just want to know how deep I am in problem if somehow she gathers courage and does report it.
Lets say we reach a settlement, then what paperwork should I do to ensure me future security. I read that under IPC 497 if the husband of the lady says that it happened with his consent then there is no offence.
Kindly advice me what charges can I expect from her side.

For paperwork, if you prefer settlement in writing, better hire services of some local lawyer to do that job. It is not so simple to suggest you the text of the document before hearing you in person and extracting more information about the incident.
