Sir my fathers documents doest say any community . He is no more . And my mothers community certificate says OBC. Wit reference to tat i got my certificate as obc. Is it legal

it may be, discuss the matter with a lawyer in your area because every state has different laws regarding the same

Children derive caste from their father and not from mother in general, death of father does not alter the situation, discuss in detail with local lawyer.

Yes, generally the caste of the father passes on to his child.However this is no fixed rule.
If it is found that the child stays with his mother only and raised by her having no or little relationship with his father the he would get the caste of his mother.
