consumer court case on online shopping

i purchased a product from online shopping...returned the product as it was defective....the online shopping company failed to refund my amt....nd informing me amt is successfully refunded...i hav all proofs ready tat tey r cheating.....

can i file tis case in consumer court???

Yes you can approach consumer court. You can search company name on www.mca.gov.in (Company Master Data) where u will get all company details including address and nane of the directors

Again take up with the company, find out the details how and where they have remitted the amount?

In case no satisfactory reply, proceed to file consumer complaint.

Locate the address of the online company, send a legal notice and then drag the company to the consumer forum for recovery as well as for compensation for mental agony.
