Correction of surname in ssc certificate

Dear Sir, My Surname Was Wrongly Entered as
"PAPPIREDDYGARI" insted of "PAPPIREDDY"in my SSC Certificates.I have completed my SSC in March 2007 in Andhra Pradesh. in all other Documents my surname is "PAPPIREDDY" (Adhar Card, Ration Card, Voter ID etc...)Now i want to correct My Surname in my Certificates. How can i change it. Plese tell me the Procedure.

Spelling error in a name does not make that much of a difference.

Take up with the Board for necessary correction, know the procedure, complete the formality and proceed.

There is a prescribed procedure for correction of name in the SSC. Approach the Director of School Education and submit the required forms for making necessary correction.

The name in the educational certificates cannot be corrected now, instead make an affidavit duly notarised stating that this was erroneously entered that way whereas you actual name is .... and both the names belong to you.
This can solve your purpose.
