Current assessment year...

Respected Sir/Madam,

I will be submitting the Form-15G in Bank this month, but I don't know the present assessment year.

I asked couple of persons but everybody is giving different answers, hence I am confused too.

Please, tell me the exact assessment year which I should write in the Form-15G and also the previous assessment year.

Assessment year is the next year of the current financial year. For current yoar of 2014-15 the AY is 2015-16. Similary for the FY 2015-16 the AY will be 2016-17.
