Dear,

Gift deed is when you gift someone and RD is when you give up your share without saying anything about future rights to anyone ....

The same, as in "offering something voluntarily out of your own belongings out of love and affection" and "deciding not to exert your right on something in favour of someone else, which was not your own belonging earlier, but you become eligible to claim the same now as of right."

I agree with experts, however it is pure academic query to be resolved by tutor of the author.

A gift deed can be executed by the title holder to any one of his choice, may be a close relative or otherwise, whereas the relinquishment deed can be executed to a co-sharer who has interest in the property on which the release is now being executed.
