Property registration

1.Our family property was in the name of my parents.Four years ago my mother died.After the demise of father if it is not changed to the son's name(child/children)what will happen to the property?
2.Should we change the property to the children's name when the father is alive?

First apply For Succession Certificate as well as Legal Heir Certificates basing on Death Certificates Of Parents who were the Owners.Basing on which the Property could be Transferred To Legal Heirs.Consult a Local Good Advocate and the Concerned Registrar Office to Confirm the Procedures and Formalities

Obtain legal heir certificate and get the property transferred in the name of legal heirs.
