Nps

sir i'm a central govt. employe in kvs. before this i was in nvs(navodaya vidyalaya samiti) i was resigned from my job and after this i joined kvs(kendriya vidyalaya sangathan)now kvs give me a nps reg. form but i have already an nps (ppran) no.so i can't fill that form and i didn't apply proper chanel so i can't say that i have an nps card. so what i do ? will i lost my job ? plz give me a legal advise.

Yes, you can. The new pension scheme is a general scheme; it is not a service condition or a benefit at all!

1. If you already have N.P.S.(New Pension Scheme ) number then you can mention this in the form now given by K.V.S.

2. Giving this number will not restrict your appointment with K.V.S.

4. The N.P.S. number is once time number given and hence quoting it for another employment is legal and will not restrict your new appointment. You will not loose the job if you quote this N.P.S. number.
