How my friensd will show the address proof when he is staying in my house?

one of my friend is staying in my house for last 3 months because repairing is going on in his house.

he has got a job recently. In the job application he has written the address of my house. now the company is asking for address proof. the address proof has to be same as which he has written in his job application.NOW my friend is requesting me to change the name of the electric bill to his name.
Can I change the electricity bill in his name?
IS THE PROPERTY HAS TO BE MUTATED IN MY FRIEND'S NAME IF I WANT TO CHANGE THE ELECTRICITY BILL NAME TO MY FRIEND'S NAME?

BUT I DON'T WANT TO TRANSFER MY PROPERTY TO HIS NAME BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO TRANSFER PROPERTY TITLE . I DON'T WANT TO MUTATE THE PROPERTY TO MY FRIEND'S NAME.

I JUST WANT TO CHANGE THE ELECTRICITY BILL NAME TO MY FRIEND'S NAME.
BUT I DON'T WANT TO GIVE ANY PROPERTY TO HIM.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHANGE THE ELECTRICITY BILL NAME TO MY FRIEND'S NAME WITHOUT GIVING HIM PROPERTY TITLE AND WITHOUT MUTATING THE PROPERTY IN HIS NAME?

HOW MY FRIEND WILL SHOW THE ADDRESS PROOF?
IS IT POSSIBLE?
IS THERE ANY OTHER OPTION TO SHOW ADDRESS PROOF?

Your 'affection' for your friend is surprising as for him you are putting your property s risk.
Being a legal counsel I can never advise a person to change Electricity Bill in name of other person when he is not transferring the property.

Choice is yours.

You can give a receipt showing him to be your Paying Guest.

actually he is NOT a paying guest. I am just helping him in his crisis time keeping him in my house.He is just a friend.

Do you feel that the electricity company will change the name withoutany documentary evidence in favour of your friend to show whether he is the owner or the tenant of the said house? NEVER. Be aware of some trap for you in the offing!

As advised by Shri Devajyoti Barman, you can give him receipt as a paying guest. otherwise, you can also give him a rent receipt for the current month as a tenant to eable him to give proof of residence.

You treat him as a tenant. Enter a rent Agreement. Attach your proof EB Card and Property tax card.

This agreement is a valid proof for your friend.

the problem is property is mutated in my father's name.My father is not alive.
I am the only heir. I have to mutate it in my name. That will take a lot of time.
please tell can I make any rental agreement/leave license agreement without mutating the property in my name?

Yes, you can make such agreemetn even if your name is not mutated.

Your desperation to help your ' friend' smacks of doubtful connection.

actually he is my childhood friend. That's why I am helping him.

but one thing I can not understand that why he is not giving his house's address as his address proof.

He is not leaving my house.
He is staying in my house for past 3 months.
He is not leaving my house.
I can't understand whether he has some other motive or not.
I am very afraid.

You do not seem to have grown with your age.
That is why you are told not to give him any such papers. He is taking advice from lawyers to create proof of his stay in your house as a tenant and not as a licensee.

for changing name on electricity bill you have to apply whole new connection in his name and still electricity company will either ask for rent agreement or transfer of ownership to your friend.
