Name change of child after divorse

I have taken divorse and got the court decree two years back. My child i.e. 8 years old daughter is in my custody as per court order. Father has right to aceess the child but since last two years he has not visited any time. Now I want to change surname and middle name of my daughter. I am staying in Mumbai. Request you to guide me the process.

you need consent of biological father to change name of child .

Yes, without consent of biological father, child's name or surname can not be changed.

Without the consent of biological father you can not change surname of the children.
