Cutting down of my coconut tree

Respected Sir/Madam
My new neighbour is continuously forcing us my various means to cut down our coconut trees on the ground that it is creating problem in his house construction and will damage his house in future.But we have planted the coconut trees many years ago before he purchased his land .They are also threatning that they will file legal suit against us for not cutting down the trees.Please give me some legal advice in such a way so that i can take a print and show them.

if coconut trees planted by you are tilting towards his land and can damage his house better cut the trees after obtaining prior permission from tree authority .

cut the trees so that their branches donot fall in neighbour house, after obtaining permission from tree authority of ur area.

cutting tree is offence.
u need permission.
just apply seeking permission. u will not be grated, so save ur skin, at cost of authority
