Up state stamp duty act- payment of stamp duty on agriculture loans

I would like to request you to please extend your valuable guidance; as to what will be the amount of stamp duty payable on an Agriculture loan of Rs.4.00 lac in Uttar Pradesh, sanctioned to an existing loanee in whose name an amount of Rs.3.00 lac is already outstanding.

Stamp fee on what step of loan. On Agreements it is generally 100/- (may vary from state to State.) For Mortgage of land for Agricultural loan it is nil up to some amount(say 2-3 lacs) in some states and for above stamp fee has to be paid.

For your case Refer UP Stamp Act accordingly.

You can get this information from the local office of the registrar as the rates do differ from village to village and type of land.
