Eviction from tenament to a sr.citizen"

(Querist) 11 August 2013 This query is : Resolved
A “person” (Sr. citizen)retires at the super- annulated age By the time his son gets marries and has to leave separately due to shortage of space. Soon after some time he become grandfather and expected to devote his time to take care of grandchildren (son & Daughter in , both are employed) somehow the “person” (Sr. citizen)is managing on two fronts. This is almost unavoidable situation. In the process, land lord harrehes the “person” (Sr. citizen), and trying to evict him from his tenement for non-stay etc.
This “person” (Sr. citizen) cannot think of losing his own shelter. Because this place is his heaven. He has love and affection and freedom. Is there any way to get legal help to prevent from such situation? Or Is there any provision in law, f or protection under law that such “person” (Sr. citizen) should not be evicted for such reasons.

Law does not provide special concessions to senior citizens in the above case. Court will decide the case on merit and may consider conditions.

Senior citizen can pray for the early disposal of the case but there is no other prevelage to him in the prevailing legal system in India.
