Attestation of pensioners life certificate

(Querist) 02 April 2013 This query is : Resolved 
A Central Government or State Government Pensioner drawing his/her pension in a particular bank say Bank of India has to be attested by Central/State Government Gazetted officers or Branch Manager where pensioner draws his pension.

Kindly clarify a pensioner residing in different place can get attestation of his/her life certificate from any other bank when he/she is not drawing in that bank and it has to be got attested by the branch manager of the pensioner

It depends upon the relevant office to confirm whether they/it allows verification of that bank or not.
