can you answer that you are getting power of attorney for which purpose?

A POA WITH RESPECT TO IMMOVABLE PROPERTY IF ACCOMPANIED WITH RIGHT TO TRANSFER ALSO WOULD REQUIRE REGISTRATION AND ONLY NOTARIZATION WILL NOT DO?

LEGALLY PARTIES ARE REQUIRED BEFORE REGISTERING OFFICER OR NOTARY.
ADV KAMAL JADHAV BANGALORE (Querist) 29 February 2012
yes sir @ Shailesh Kr Shah

this for registration (immovable property) purpose..
Shailesh Kr. Shah (Expert) 29 February 2012
Notarised Power of attroney have no value for the purpose of transfer for Immovable property.

You have to register POA for said purpose.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 29 February 2012
As your father is a purchaser and you have to represent your father so there is even no need to have POA.

In the given matter, POA notarised is sufficient for you to be present at the time of purchase.
Rajeev Kumar (Expert) 29 February 2012
Notarised POA is not legal for transfer of immovable property. You should have to register it.
V R SHROFF (Expert) 29 February 2012
For Transfer of immovable Property, POA must be Registered.
