Physically challenged

Dear Experts,

Do physically handicapped (mentally retarded) person is eligible for full pension through out the life, the father of the said person was working in a AP-State Govt organisation....there they have approved the full pension for some time and later on they have decreased the pension amount almost to 50% of the full pension, i heard somewhere that the Mentally retarded person is eligible for full pension through out the life is is true..Pls help with ur valuable advice and any G.O regarding the full pension for mentally retarded person. Your advice can be a great help for the person who is suffering.

After the demise of the pensioner,the family pension is granted to the family.The mentally retarded can draw the family pension throughout lifetime.

Thanks but bit more info,

Full pension or 50% of pension after couple of years or same pension which is granted by the organsiation.

from 2009 to 2012 @ 5000/-pm
from 2012 to death @ 2500/-pm

but regarding some people info as approved @5000/- pm till death.

pls advice which is correct.

this case is releated to state govt of AP

The pensin Rules of Central Govt are available in market alongwith GOs. It can be well expected that such rules of AP Govt may also be available in market. If not then on website, if not then under RTI. Under RTI you cannot seek free legal advise but can get copy of exiosting rules and instructions.
