If someone records his own phone call without the consent of parties from whom the phone calls came then what would be the consequence?

Advocate. Arunagiri (Expert) 16 December 2011
I think in India, recording the telephone call without the consent of the other side, is not declared as illegal.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 17 December 2011
Such procedure has not been introduced in Indian court as on day so no comment whether it is legal or illegal but has no scope to use in legal proceeding.
Shailesh Kr. Shah (Expert) 17 December 2011
Law is silent about it.
prabhakar singh (Expert) 17 December 2011
I do not think it covers phone tapping of others.Recording my own talk with others can not be illegal,it is just like keeping a note in diary, which once proved to have been done in regular course of business or out of regular habit,it would be admissible in evidence also subject to authenticity of voice of person whose voice is in question.
