rESPECTED Experts,

I am very frustrated as I am not getting any quick relief under this Act which I filed on 18th Jan'11.
On july 4th I filed for interim maintenance but My FIL filing diff misc cases and delaying the whole process.I am in shared household of my husband which is made by husband with bank loan and as the land was in FIL'S name he is also a co loanee.
In last petition in Augst FIL stated that the court should be changed and hence it should be transfererd to CJM from the subordinate court.But it was just about to be decided by the CJM where to send the case FIL filed that it was his mistake to apply for changing the Court.Will it be in favour that CJM has sent it back to the same court again.
He has several times doing this kind of things.Files, kills time and then withdraws the case which is causing lot of problems to me as i have to paying money to my lawyer unnecessary dates.
What must be their intention behind doing so?Can I claim compensation for causing so trouble to me and wasting valuable time of hnrble Court?

judicial process takes time . if your Fil delaying matter your lawyer can point to court the dilatory tactics being adopted . you can always ask for costs for adjournments

Your FIL can be fined for this tactics, it is upto your lawyer to represent this fact strongly in court.

If your counsel is vigilant then such adjournments may be minimized and matter may thus come to conclusion within a short period as desired.

Each adjournment should now be opposed vehemently so that court allowing the application heavy cost burden on party seeking adjournment and its realization should be pressed on every date so that the side seeking adjournment starts realizing that its a costly affair to afford. Counsels
are generally lenient on the matter hence start opposing yourself.
