my family & my in laws are pressurising me to give me consent for wrong declaration that i & my wife are staying seprately from so & so date...(earlier dates)...which is wrong...they are doing so to get divorce at earliest...if we do so is this not a crime & what can be consequence if this matter comes into highlight in court that both the party gave wrong statement...

don't give such a declaration. the court will initiate prosecution for giving false evidence if it found later to court. better go in straight way. you can consult a lawyer in this behalf.

sir any other ground by which we can file petition for divorce before one marriage (living apart)...she is chartered accountant and i am also established bussinessman...we dont have any children...

The period is mandatory and unless you wait for that time you could not apply for mutual divorce.

no lawyer will advise you to make false statement on oath . if law provides that you have to stay separate for one year and then apply for divorce follow the law .

In case of mutual divorce both the parties have to make the said statement. In case of false statement both will face consequences.

sir prabhakar singhji,

i want to carry this case for atleast 3 years..i.e. till 2014...neway? reason is very simple...my in laws are very confident that within 1 year they will get decree of divorce and six months after that they will remarry thr daughter...they r in hurry because they r having one more daughter who is also 24 years old...if this case get linger for more three years i m confiident they will be bound to think again... this is bring to your kind knowledge that we couple dont have any major issue..its interferance of many people and my negligence & stupidity that today i m standing in this situation... i lover her lot...& want to live my entire life with her..
