Technical resignation

(Querist) 11 July 2017 This query is : Resolved
Dear sir,
I had joined power sector psu at the post of Technician Trainee in 2003.and completed one year Training period and placed in regular pay scale of Technician and served for 3 years 6 months mean time our workmen union was demanding that our one year training period may be considered in regular service tobe counted for determining the eligibility period for next grade. In 2008 was selected in supervisor grade which is next one to Workman grade as a department internal candidate through proper channel and submitted my technical resignation and again inducted as Je ( supervisor ) trainee for one year and serving here last 9 years. Now our management has pleased the long time pending demand of considering the training period in service to be counted and one time dispensation is allowed. Now my question is that am I eligible for that consideration of training period even I had also inducted one year Training Period in workman category and served for 3 years and 6 months as regular workman. Kindly suggest me appropriate clues.

You are serving as JE in the same concern and the management is now pleased to count your past service period of one year training period as workman and 3 years and 6 mothers as regular workman. You are entitled for that under civil services rules but being PSU, there must be some specific service rules. It shall be better to go through those rules and satisfy your query.

If the management has agreed then it may agree in your case also.
What are the provisions of your service rules!

Terms of agreement with the union need to be referred.

Whether the benefit is denied to you ?

If so, have you represented and in such case what was the reply of management.?

What is the real issue? Does the implementation revised norms make any change in your position in the seniority list or affect your emoluments vis-a-vis your juniors?
