Low about to purchase agreeculture land in maharashtra

Hi sir...
I want to purchase areecutture land.By birth i was farmer but 10 yrs ago my father had sold land.Now i have no land.I collect information ,registar says that you shuld have current 7/12 utara then u can purchase otherwise not.please told me can i purchase?if yes by which rule if not purchse bu which rule.

you cannot purchase agricultural land unless you are a farmer . since you dont have your name in 7/12 registrar will decline to transfer land in your name

but sir my father was farmer so i also became farmer.My father sold land for my sister marrage,education.meanwhile we searching land now got it.i think this low is against farmer.any farmers son can not purchase land this is wrong.what should i do sir
