Fabricated CD(kindly help urgently)

If someone produce tempered CD in a court as evidence in DV case is it punishable offence. Under which ipc section it is punishable offence, from where the tempered CD can be checked(from which authorised lab, which is recognised by court of law).
Kindly help urgently.

Such offence is punishable under section 471 IPC and such CD can be got verified through Govt. Foresic lab which is situated in almost all States. Court can be requested for this purpose.

In DV case the Police has no role to play and hence no question of CD.

So provide right information first.

Dear Shri Barmanji the author of the query hasnt said that police was concerned with the case. pls check. The CD can be checked by the Govt forensic lab by order of Court.
