Lien of psu job

(Querist) 09 November 2014 This query is : Resolved
Sir m Working With NTPC a Central Govt PSU. Now i got an offer from Punjab State govt for job,,You kindly requested to tell me whether can i re-join NTPC after 2 year again.if yes then what is procedure of claiming Lien.
Anirudh (Expert) 09 November 2014
No. You are not going on deputation from NTPC to Punjab State Govt. job. That is a fresh appointment. You cannot accept it unless you resign from NTPC. Once you resign from NTPC, the question of rejoining again after 2 years simply does not arise. Of course, if there is any fresh appointment in NTPC at that time, you can apply and join as a fresh appointee and not as a old employee of NTPC.

You have not clarified, whether offer is on deputation basis or on regular basis and also, if on regular basis, whether you applied for the job through proper channel or not.

After resignation again can not be allowed to join till service rules specifically permit for the same.

You have not replied the second part of my query.

@ PS Dhingra Sir , Yes sir I Got selected and appointed through open recruitment in NTPC,& yet m on probation for one year.As far as the Rules of HR concerned they are silent about LIEN & TECHNICAL RESIGNATION.
Guest (Expert) 09 November 2014
Rules/ decisions of Government of India States and PSUs are very clear on lien and technical resignation. Candidates with open market selection process are not assured of protection of lien or with past service benefits. Had you applied through proper channel, you would have been entitled for lien/ benefits of past service in NTPC.

Moreover, you are still on probation with NTPC ?
