Regarding obc certificate transfer from plce to other place in same district in same state

Dear sir,
I have one situtation that I was selected for interview for govt exam.My family is shifted from one town to other town in same district from last 4 months.I have OBC in previous town and did not have OBC now in present address. I was ask the thaslidar for OBC in present address he did not give the OBC certifiacte Because one year is not completed in present town.please give where can i will take the OBC for applying the job.

You can have the OBC certificate from your original (previous) town/district/state.

The validity of the OBC is for one year.The OBC communities listed for the whole state and therefore,the certificate issued by any tahsildar is valid for the whole state.The contention that it should be obtained from the town of residence is uncalled for and against the provisions.

Agreed with expert Mr.Isaac Gabriel. You can as well use the same certificate till completion of one year and then apply for a fresh certificate with present address.
