Hello, can an apartment association pass a law, saying that owners can not rent their property to bachelors or paying guests. Owners can rent only to families. Also, can association has rights to ask more maintenance money from existing bachelors on the ground of more usage or misuse of resources (like water).

Hi,
I obtained an order (from State Consumer Forum) for attachment of property (against a builder who did not deliver the flats on time.)
He sold the property to someone AFTER the order was passed (within a month). Can I still go ahead with carrying out the order to attach the property?
Another catch is that though the order was passed on 19th Jan, the order copy I obtained is dated 22nd Feb. The property was sold (by the builder) on 16th Feb.
Do I still stand chance to recover my money by attachment of the said property?
Please advise.

The deed of Ancestral Property Partition was executed by all parts on 20 Rupee stamp paper without notarisation or registration. Now the Karta of the HUF wants to revise the partition deed. I have advised the client to first get the old deed cancelled by process of law and then new deed with proper stamp duty be executed and registered. However, the party wants to do a new deed and have mention in it that the old one may be treated as cancelled. Or else a registered will may be prepared. Please advise.

I bought a piece of residential land in Dec. 2010. Last week I got a legal notice from a lawyer stating that the land I bought is under litigation and the case is pending in high court. He also stated that the sale deed is invalid.
My questions are:
1. Is there a way to find out if the property is having any legal issues before buying?
2. In my case, what are my options I have now?
3. Is the sale deed really invalid?
Any help regarding my issue will be greatly appreciated.

A tresspasser get a stayorder from court due to non appearance of landlord how long this stay order is valid.

My grandfather had purchased land , the funding of land and construction over same is done by my father and grand father .
My grand father had 3 sons . After construction he handed over ground floor to my father . Since 1973 we are residing there . My grandfather expired in 1973 , leaving behind grandmother and 3 sons.
The propery was never transfered to any one after his death . My father expired in 1994 and grandmother in 1999 , and one of my uncle expired in 2004 . The property still stands in grandfather name .
Now my uncle and aunt has applied for there share in Estate office to tune of 35% and 35% each and ours 30% , on ground that after death of my father the share again split in our family and my grandmother .
We have renovated the groundfloor , and my other uncles family is getting rent for 1st floor alternative months.
pls advice is our family share is only 30% .What is provision of oral partion alraedy happened 40 yrs back and till date no one had claimed any thing .
Is oral mutation happened in 1972 valid , as no one has claimed any thing after that, now start claiming that earlier partion not correct.

Conditional gift deed - is it possible?
My mother want to give me a portion of land, which is presently under her sole ownership, through gift deed for building my own house. But, she wants to ensure that she has the right to live in that newly constructed house in her lifetime.
Can I put such condition at the time of execution gift deed ie.even before the construction of house?
So, please tell me how to include that condition in gift deed without other legal complications.
