Valid will

Up till now I was under the impression that a WILL written on a plain paper in presence of two witnesses who sign on it in each others presence is valid until revoked.However a recent article in economic times says there have been various judjements of different courts where unregistered Wills wre termed illegal.Kindly
apprise aforementioned Will would be valid legally or not.

will on plain piece of paper signed before 2 witnesses would be valid . registration is optional . judgement depend upon facts of each case

If you have such judgment, put it before the experts so that it may be got analysed accordingly otherwise unregistered will is also legal.

however, in the state of uttar pradesh, WILL relating to Agricultural land is required to registration.
