Transfer of maintenance case from one state to other

My client stay in maharashtra. His wife stay in karnataka who filed maintenance case in that state.
Question is whether that maintenance case can be transferred from karnataka to maharashtra?

Yes, only if your client is ready to bear her traveling and hotel expenses for at least two days per hearing.

Hon'ble Supreme court has decided recently the similar case.

The sole intention behind such transfer applications remain to harass the petitioner wife but when husband has to bear the inordinate heavy expenses then the thought gets reversed so take step after going through this aspect.
