Hi Team,
Greetings for the day!!!
My husband filed divorce case at family court, Mumbai. I am residing at Gujarat before he filed this case. I was not aware about the case since 23rd August. I came to know it was for 13, 1a reason.
I want to transfer the case from Mumbai family court to Gujrat, Ahmedabad. Please answer my query along with the fees as I am unemployed and unable to visit Mumbai.
Dure to physical and mental harassment, I left Mumbai and my safety is not there.
Please provide me the procedure and fees to transfer the case on urgent basis.

1) you will have to move SC for transfer of case to Ahemdabad .
2) you can file DV case against your husband in Ahemdabad seek maintenance and other reliefs

Case can be transferred to Gujrat at your place only after moving to Supreme Court.

Such tansfer cases can be filed in SC.
Every lawyer would charge as per his standing in the court about this case, there can not be any fixed charges for the same.

I agree with expert, file a transfer petition before Supreme Court that case will be transferred to Ahemdabad.
Besides this, file fresh maintenance, domestic violence, dowry demand and cruelty cases against your husband (and in-laws) at the place of your present address in Ahemdabad.

The Supreme Court lawyer would prepare the case and would file. Fees has to be negotiated. Also prey stay on proceedings till decision.

It is a case of Divorce. Even if you want to work ASAP, it may take ALAP!
There is no provision for e-filing for transfer in SC. You will have to engage an advocate to file the transfer petition in SC.
