is there any relaxation for an unmarried lady advocate belongs to S.C. category, for the extension of the term of an oath commissioner in punjab. please tell me immediately its very urgent

me an advocate practicing at Distt. courts Bathinda. and the term of oath commissioner is going to be expired and i applied for extension please tell me regarding the rule of extension of term of oath commissioner for a lady advocate

Contact Punjab & Haryana High Court Judge/ officer who have appointed you as an Oath Commissioner.

An Oath Commissioner is a position of responsibility. Certainly such an Officer of the Court should be in the know of the basic rules/norms.

The tenure for commissioner of oaths is 6 years, extension part of it on normal terms is NO, if you plan to apply, do it and know the result yourself. The community has no role to play in the extension.
