In laws threatening for domestic violence and 498a

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 03 June 2018 This query is : Open
Hello,
My in laws are threatening me with very abusive language and are saying they will file dv and 498a.

This is my 2nd marriage and I have already fought 498a up to supreme Court at the time of 1st marriage.

My wife had went to her mother's house and now they are not sending her back. She wants to return but she is scared of her mother.

I do not want divorce as I have a 20 month very cute son.

What are my options to protect my self and also not go for divorce?

I don't want to go with RCR as the moment I will file a civil case they will file criminal cases on me.

Seek an amicable compromise with the help of seniors and elders respected by both the families.

As suggested by Raj Kumar involve neutral elders of both sides and settle the matter amicably. Don't let anyone including your in laws play spoil sport in your marriage.Love your wife more and talk to her gently.Do your level best to keep up this marriage.

you have to find amicable solution.

You have already earned a lot of experience while fighting your previous 498a case right from the lowest to the highest court. You also would be having hired different lawyers at lower, higher and supreme courts. So, it is not understood, why you could feel the need to find solution from this forum, instead of using your own invaluable experience and not asking your query to anyone of your own hired lawyers in your previous case!

Can you throw some light on this aspect, or you had merely studded your academic query with vague description?

Well experienced author should give a lesson instead of seeking guidance from inexperienced (though experts). Encash your past experiences.

Yes I know both the cases are completely same but I do not want to go directly with legal route. Going legal closes all options of continuing the marriage. Also earlier cases were in a different city and different state so need to find out a lawyer who believes in joining families rather than breaking it.
