Divorce proceedings - clarifications

Dear Experts ,

I am gonna file my divorce petition on the following grounds of cruelty.

1.Filing false dowry harassment case against me and my family which proved false.
2.Marriage not consummated due to her abnormal love making acts.
3.Eccentric behaviours against husband
4.Separated for last 1 year.

1.Do any other strong pointers is required on grounds of cruelty?

2.My jurisdiction is coimbatore, how ling will it take to get it numbered?

3.What will be the further steps from the court ?

4.How long will it take to get the divorce?

Meet a local lawyer and file suit at your place of residence.
No body can predict the time of final conclusion of suit.

contested divorce proceedings take around 5 years to be disposed of . it depends upon pendency of cases in family court . file for divorce by mutual consent and you can get divorce in 6 months time

1. Grounds are enough to file divorce case.
2. Not much time should be taken in numbering.
3. As per procedure, notice would be issued.
4. May take 4-5 years or more in contested case.

Dear Friends,Thanks. My advocate said he will intimate my wife on mutual consent.i Think they may also agree.

If that is the case, will it close within 6 months?

What happens if my wife s not responding or coming to the court?

if wife after filing of divorce by mutual consent does not attend court you petition would be dismissed . if she attends you will get divorce in 6 months

If she is not responding for MCD, go for regular divorce on the grounds of cruelty and non-consummation of marriage.

You need local coimbatore Family matter lawyers, to file Divorce.

Self dome will be miserable, painful, lengthy, and a vain struggle.

Ya, i have submitted my petition thru a lawyer he is gonna submit by 29th sep.

Just wanted to know the various possibilities.
